Things to do before I die.

A while ago, I made this list of things I want to do before I die.  Of course, now I can’t find it.  On the list, I wrote I wanted to see the Governer’s Palace in San Antonio.  How amazing is it that I am going to San Antonio to visit my brother next week!  I’m so excited.  So, in honor of accomplishing goals and realizing dreams, I am creating a new list of all the things I want to see and do before I keel over dead.  These are the big dreams, the whimsical goals, much farther reaching than my yearly list.  I am starting to realize, with each passing year, that there is something to creating the life you want.  The first step is to write it down, get the thought out there in the world.

NOTE:  I found my list!  It wasn’t the Governor’s Palace in San Antonio, it was the Palace of the Goveror’s in Sante Fe, New Mexico.  :)

And so, my list…

1.  See the Governor’s Palace and the Alamo in San Antonio.
** Well, I saw both.  The Governor’s Palace from the outside and the Alamo, inside and out.  Both were beautiful.  I expected to feel something deeper, more meaningful, at the Alamo…but I didn’t.  Just the excitement of seeing something I’d always wanted to see…no more no less.**

2.  Eat noodles from a street vendor in Singapore.

3.  Walk through a Parisian street at night wearing a designer gown.

4.  Be a published author.

5.  Take a ride on a luxurious private yacht.

6.  Watch the sunrise with my love on New Year’s Day.

7.  Watch the sunset from the steps of the Palace of the Governor’s in Sante Fe.

8.  Learn to play the guitar.

9.  Speak French fluently.

 10.  Eat Chicken Fried Bacon in Snook, TX.
